MEA-nl B.V. registers and uses personal data that you provided to us in compliance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation and the Dutch implemented law AVG) – a new EU regulation. In this privacy statement, you can read how we process your personal data. This version of the Privacy Statement was published on the 1st of June 2018.


This privacy statement applies to the relevant activities of MEA-nl B.V. (further referred to as: ‘MEA-nl’), established in Den Oever, Haventerrein 1-A 1779 GS, The Netherlands.

This statement applies to every action of MEA-nl concerning processing of personal data, both offline and online. It applies to the processing of data that you have provided to us (for example, by filling out a contact form on our website), but also the data we collect without your knowledge, for example when you visit our website or make use of our products or services.

The kind of data we collect

We collect the following personal data:

  • Name, Address, Postal/ZIP Code, location of your company, telephone number, email address and company name.

How we inform you about our products and services

Besides our website, we can inform you about our new products and services via all usual and relevant media: regular mail, (digital) newsletter and forms, social media or by telephone.

Purpose of our data processing

MEA-nl collects personal data via several methods:

  • Registration of Primary Account Data (or so-called ‘primary customer data’ mentioned under ‘The kind of data we collect’) via the contact form on our website and via registration for our newsletter;
  • Customer data when you do business with us: financial data (such as IBAN or other necessary international bank reference data);
  • Data in relation to your visit on our website, such as IP addresses.
    Besides this, we keep your data in our registration system to comply with relevant regulations.

Information about the processing of data

When you apply as a member of our newsletter services, we collect and store your data until you unsubscribe. For the contact form, we use a retention term of six months, unless indicated otherwise.

Security and exchange of data

MEA-nl ensures that your data are secured in a proper manner, compliant with the applicable regulatory demands. Only members of our staff who needs your data, can access your personal data.

MEA-nl co-operates with the following organisations that collect and process your personal data:

Our newsletters are sent by means of MailChimp. In this system, the links that are clicked will be registered, as well as the frequency of opening of our newsletters. We use this information and data to further improve these mailings.
